It is understood that Buchanan has taken an appointment closer to her home in Leicestershire, although she was unavailable for comment.
Lanario has been promoted from her previous role within the case management department at Tiuta.
Her responsibilities include securing new business, developing existing broker/introducer relationships and she will be responsible for overseeing the bridging lender’s marketing strategy and output.
She will report to Steven Nicholas, chief executive of Tiuta.
Nicholas said: “At Tiuta we have a policy of promoting internally where possible and we are pleased to be able to do this with Georgina who becomes Tiuta’s newest BDM.
“As someone who has been with the business for five years Georgina has a strong understanding of the way we operate and has built up a significant amount of experience working within the Case Management department.
“She now makes the move to the business development team where she will be responsible for securing business and building relationships with new and existing brokers and introducers.
“Georgina will also have hands-on responsibility for Tiuta’s marketing output and we believe she will be a major asset in this area and in overall business development.”
On the departure of Buchanan, Nicholas said: “We wish Kirsty all the very best in her new position. We appreciate that the London commute was not for her and that she has therefore left to join a firm closer to her home in Leicestershire.
“Despite her short time at Tiuta she made a real contribution to the business and was becoming a real force within the bridging market. We wish her all the best for her future career. In terms of Kirsty’s replacement Georgina Lanario has taken over all her duties.”
