December saw Tiuta commit to donating a percentage of income derived from all business introduced within the month and thanks to a record month of lending this worked to help bolster the fund. This business has now completed and allowed Tiuta to add to the amount it has raised for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
The specialist lender also auctioned off all Christmas gifts received, donated any money allocated for cards and gifts in addition to a number of other fundraising activities organised by Tiuta staff. A special thanks goes out to James Rainbird, managing director at Pink Pig Loans for his generous donation.
George Patellis, CEO at Tiuta, commented: “I’d like to offer a big thank you to all the intermediaries for their continued support which has really helped boost this fund. Great Ormond Street Hospital is a charity close to many of our hearts here at Tiuta and we are genuinely delighted that we have managed to raise over £3k to help boost the coffers of such a well deserving charity.”
Richard Stewart, new business manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, added: “We are delighted that Tiuta has chosen to support the hospital with this generous donation. The money will be used to help treat some of the UK’s most seriously ill children, many of whom rely on Great Ormond Street Hospital to provide the specialist treatment and care they need. As a charity we are dependent on all our supporters to help us raise the funds we need, and to help keep the hospital at the forefront of paediatric care. During these difficult times we are especially grateful for all the help we get.”
