The two sales managers will look after brokers in London and the South West responsible for bringing in ideas and helping brokers develop sales techniques.
Johnston and Loizou will also be putting on networking events in these areas. TMA said it plans to extend this service across other parts of the UK.
Johnston was previously a branch manager and then a mortgage manager for Lloyds TSB. Prior to that she worked at Buildstore as a key relationship manager and also spent five years at Mortgage Intelligence as head of the mortgage club and head of mortgage products.
Loizou has been in the industry since 1995 and for the past eight years has run his own mortgage brokerage.
Phil Whitehouse, head of TMA, said: “Having Julie and Lee on board will make a really positive difference to TMA and our members and it is very positive news that we can make these appointments just six months into being a part of the LSL Property Services Group.
“TMA is about more than just providing highly competitive mortgages to our members, it is also about genuinely adding value to their businesses in the areas that they most need it, and that’s exactly what our highly experienced new sales managers will be able to do.”
