Kevin has been working with HBOS for 16 years and was Head of Legal Products and responsible for the launch of online conveyancing within the group.
Kevin brings in depth knowledge of the intermediary mortgage market and a wealth of experience to his new role. Kevin joined HBOS in 1989 to set up the banking and lending infrastructure for the Halifax's then new current account. He has since held a number of senior positions in banking, current account, card operations and more latterly, in the legal products market, where he interacted with intermediary colleagues.
Nigel Payne, managing director of TMB, said: “I am delighted to welcome Kevin to the team. His particular strengths lie in people management, project management and operational strategies and for this reason he is particularly suited to head mortgage operations at TMB. We will relish the knowledge and experience he brings to this role.”
Kevin Wood said: “There are a number of new things in the pipeline for TMB and so, this is a particularly exciting move for me. TMB is geared towards enhancing relationships and high standards enjoyed by packagers and brokers and my role will be to make sure TMB’s service standards continue to strengthen.”
Kevin is married with four sons.
