TMB has always enjoyed a reputation for first class service but this has suffered over the last 12 months due to a combination of record activity within the mortgage market generally and a change to computer systems. Extended working hours from TMB staff and the re-pricing of products earlier in the year have not been enough to bring the service back to where it needs to be.
Commenting on the changes, Mark Bergin, marketing and sales director, TMB said: "When we re-priced our products in May 2004, we hoped to reduce demand so that we could once again provide brokers with the service standards for which TMB is known.After the re-pricing, application levels remained strong and inevitably this has had a continued impact on service levels, leaving us with no other option than to temporarily withdraw our current product range.
"We thank our introducers for their continued support and I am looking forward to launching a new product range backed up by first class service in the very near future."
