Over the next few months the team will grow four fold with the new introductions and the development will support further business growth.

Nigel Payne, managing director at TMB, said: “We try to be pragmatic in introducing new propositions to ensure that it is right for our customers and that’s exactly the case here and so we are delighted to now be offering the proposition to even more of our key introducers. Unlike some lenders, who are ‘shoring up’ a poor central service proposition by placing staff remotely, TMB's remote underwriters are taking our excellent core service out to our customers.”

Commenting, John Hay, head of financial services product development at Buildstore, said: “We have now had a TMB onsite underwriter for three months and have found that speed to offer has improved substantially. In addition, as we are a self build specialist many cases are complex and our sales and processing teams have found the access to expertise from TMB onsite is making a significant improvement in the service we give brokers and clients.”
