The company believes that advisers should be able to filter on whatever criteria they want, whenever they want.
Richard Hurst, marketing director at Client Data Systems, said: “Sourcing systems traditionally dictated to brokers the dozen or so filters that they could use to make mortgage sourcing results more meaningful.
“That may have been fair enough a decade ago but as products become more sophisticated, putting the power back in the hands of brokers is essential.
“Being able to filter on basic items such as product types and incentives remain important but the second there is a product that bucks the norm intermediaries shouldn’t have to wait for a new version of the system to be built.
CDS provide TheCore sourcing system which allows intermediaries to choose features, criteria or even key words to filter sourcing results so that results genuinely reflect the needs of clients. The firm believes that this opens up a whole new world of sourcing accuracy for intermediaries.
Hurst said: “The recent NewBuy schemes are a case in point. Within TheCore sourcing system, brokers can simply create their own filter on the words ‘NewBuy’ to source the products. It’s really as simple as that and gives brokers complete control.”
