The partnership means that Trigold users will benefit from specially packaged courses should they wish to obtain the CF1 and CF6 mortgage advice qualifications or the more specific ER1 qualification for Equity Release. These preferential rates and packages offered include all of the required elements from the course book through to the examination itself.
Trigold’s business academy is also currently running a nationwide series of free roadshows with the aim of equipping advisors with the vital skills, knowledge and tools required to excel in the modern advisory market.
David Aylmer, business development and marketing director at Trigold said; “We’re obviously delighted to be able to offer our users this terrific opportunity. The academy is helping brokers up and down the country develop their skills and target additional income streams. The Equity Release market is one that is of particular importance with research showing that two thirds of equity release products were distributed via brokers in 2008. Our own survey conducted last year revealed that 95% of brokers believed that the equity release sector will be either ‘very important’ or ‘important’ in the future. However, 60% of brokers surveyed were not yet qualified to give advice which is why this link with CII is so vital.”
Steve Aspinall – Head of Business Development (Financial Services) at the CII commented, “With Trigold being used by 7 out of 10 mortgage brokers we’re very pleased to be supporting the Trigold Business Academy to promote the benefits of further education and qualifications to advisors. We share the aims and principles of the academy in helping advisors develop themselves and their businesses.”
