Matt Gilmour, director of Infinity Mortgages, said the lender had yet to receive Trigold’s lender verification disk so it could check its products are accurate on the sourcing system.
He said: “The Friday before ‘Mortgage Day’ we still hadn’t been sent the disk. It’s ridiculous. We were told Trigold was having difficulties with the software.
“We are still waiting for the disk so in the meantime we have to check the products manually with printouts.”
Trevor Youens at Flower IFA said he was experiencing problems getting onto the Trigold system while Mark Osland, director of Fidelius, commented: “At the moment the Trigold system keeps crashing.
“Also, you get a PDF instead of a word document to do the illustrations on so you can’t make any changes. We are being treated like children or criminals. I should be able to make changes if I so wish as long as it’s within the guidelines.”
And Richard Palmer, compliance director of Optoma’s InterPartners network, said: “This week I have not been able to do a successful update on Trigold. The compliance sync just fails so I cannot look at anything remotely on its Compliance Shield function. The sourcing system and its compliance tool do not seem to be working in conjunction with each other. With nearly 200 advisers to look after, this is causing a lot of problems.”
Palmer added that he had been trying to contact Trigold for days to rectify the problems but had received no reply.
Bill Safran, joint managing director of Trigold, said: “With 20,000 subscribers of course a few number will experience some problems. If anybody has any difficulties they can contact us. But on the whole we have had a smooth run.”
