Users are being asked whether they would like to see direct products on Trigold, whether they currently include (or plan to include) direct products in their advice and also whether they would change their fee structure to incorporate advice on direct products.
The survey is open to all users and can be accessed via the Trigold website at www.trigold.co.uk.
Although Trigold has received no more than a handful of requests for these deals to be accessible David Aylmer, business development and marketing director at Trigold explained that this does not mean that an ongoing dialogue with users should stop:
“Trigold has always listened very closely to its users and this forms a central part of our ongoing development programme. With 7 out of 10 mortgage brokers using Trigold software we’re in no doubt of our responsibility to provide users with the tools that they want and need. The debate around dual pricing and how this affects mortgage brokers has stimulated a little interest in the market although our own experience shows that there has been little or no demand from advisers.
“We’re keen to discover whether there is a place for these products even if it is merely as an additional filter for non customer-facing research purposes. We hope to publish the results of the survey within the next couple of weeks.”
