Customers currently on the SVR at 2.5% could benefit from a saving up to 0.4% by moving onto TSB’s new mortgage offers – with rates starting from just 2.09%.
Homeowners who took out a TSB mortgage after June 2010 may have recently moved onto TSB’s Homeowner Variable Rate when their previous deal ended.
With the HVR currently at 3.99% the savings could be even bigger. Existing TSB customers with an outstanding loan of £200,000 could potentially save more than £2,300 a year by transferring their mortgage to a 2-year fix at 1.99%.
