ModaMortgages and West Brom share updates

A couple of mortgage lenders have expanded their reach in the intermediary market, with ModaMortgages joining TMA Club’s lending panel and West Brom Building Society being appointed to Access Financial Services’ panel.
Newly launched specialist lender ModaMortgages has been added to TMA Club’s lending panel, giving the club’s directly authorised (DA) members access to its range of buy-to-let products.
The lender caters to a wide variety of landlord types, including individuals, limited companies, first-time buyers, and those with small or large portfolios. It also offers financing for houses in multiple occupation and multi-unit freehold blocks.
Darrell Walker (pictured left), director of sales and distribution at ModaMortgages, called the addition “an important step” in the lender’s growth.
“We’re delighted to be added to TMA Club’s lending panel,” Walker said. “As a newly launched specialist lender, this is an important step on our journey to offering our extensive range of buy-to-let mortgage solutions to as many intermediaries as possible.”
Meanwhile, Access Financial Services (Access FS) has added West Brom Building Society to its mortgage panel, making it one of a limited number of DA firms working with the mutual.
The brokerage, which has 75 lenders on its panel, said the addition would enhance the mortgage options available to its brokers, particularly in specialised areas such as shared ownership and low-deposit mortgages, including a new-build option with terms of up to 40 years.
Alasdair McDonald (pictured right), head of intermediaries at West Brom, said the move was a priority for the society.
“Access FS is one of the fastest-growing adviser firms in the country, renowned for its high standards, so being on their panel was a priority for us,” McDonald said. “We are confident that we can provide the excellent service that we are known for, while offering Access brokers a wide range of competitive rates and products, and a level of flexibility that sets us apart from other providers.”
