The business has recently reviewed this strategy of having two specialist lending brands and concluded that, in current market conditions, focusing on developing a single brand is a more appropriate approach. As a result, new mortgage business under the UCB Home Loans brand will be suspended at 5pm on the 31st October 2008.
What does this mean for you, the intermediary? Customers who have already had a mortgage offer will be able to continue with their application through to completion. After 31st October you will no longer be able to submit applications for cases which you have already reserved but you will be able to track submitted applications through MATs.

Brokers can now find a wide range of competitive Buy to Let, Self Cert and Large Loan products on The Mortgage Works website.
Existing customers of UCB Home Loans will not be affected by this change.
