ENC has lenders’ individual underwriting criteria included in the system and products are sourced upon individual credit conditions such as CCJs and arrears. ENC is now made up of 28 lenders representing over 95 per cent of the non-conforming market.
UCB’s Mortgage Choices for intermediaries offers brokers and their clients a range of residential self-cert and full-status products, ranging from prime to light adverse, along with a range of buy-to-let prime products.
UCB has worked with Trigold to ensure that all of the product and criteria intricacies are built into the system so that brokers can use Trigold to accurately source and filter UCB’s products. This ensures that brokers can apply for non-conforming mortgages with complete confidence.
Keith Astill, managing director of UCB Home Loans, said: "UCB Home Loans is very pleased to have signed up to Trigold's non-conforming module. Intermediaries will now have access to our range of non-conforming products from this trusted brand. ENC allows intermediaries to find a product to suit their client's needs and by presenting our range on the module, we are able to demonstrate to intermediaries what we can offer."
Bill Safran, CEO at Trigold, said: “Confidence in sourcing specialist loans has never been more important for mortgage intermediaries who are after accurate and independent results. The ENC module has been designed to incorporate the actual criteria used by ENC lenders ensuring that intermediaries can source and select the right product for clients from lenders that account for over 95 per cent of the non-conforming market. ENC is not merely a system to capture business for one particular distributor but a genuine business tool which brokers can use to review all the options in the market. We’re delighted to welcome UCB as an ENC Lender and look forward to working with them for the benefit of our users.”
Meanwhile, UCB has announced Gary Webster, head of sales and business development for the company, will be leaving.
Tamsin Hemsley, media relations manager at Nationwide, commented: "Gary Webster has decided not to progress his career within the Nationwide Group division and will be leaving UCB Home Loans on 28 August 2007. He has worked at UCB for a number of years and has enjoyed a variety of roles. Gary has made a much valued contribution to the growth of UCB and has been a true ambassador for the brand. He has been a valued member of the UCB management team and we wish him every success in his future career."
