And Jason Berry, head of key accounts, says the GI provider will “guarantee a quality product with excellent benefits”.
He said: “We wanted brokers to see just how easy referring home insurance clients can be and how lucrative an income they can earn.
“We know one of our competitors is also offering 25% commission but we have no doubt that with our five star Defaqto rated product we are market leaders on quality.
“By matching our competitor’s commission offer we hope to show brokers we can offer them not just the best deal for them but also the best product for their customers.”
Refer and Earn works by introducing home insurance and buy-to-let clients to Uinsure. The GI provider will then take full control of the compliance and pay 25% commission for each completed application.
Its five star product includes £1 million buildings cover if clients need to rebuild their home, £50,000 contents cover as standard, new for old cover on all replaced contents and a one year guarantee on home repairs carried out by insurer-appointed builders.
Uinsure will pay to trace the source of a leak and make good any damage caused and cover can be tailored by adding optional extras, for example accidental damage and cover away from the home.
The product is provided with no price rating increases and includes some new selectable benefits which allow more flexibility and, incredibly, sees premiums reduce to below what Uinsure has offered in the past.
Simon Taylor, chief executive of Uinsure, added: “At Uinsure we have always strived to go above and beyond for our brokers, including introducing a free Defaqto comparison tool on our website and launching PriceBeater to ensure brokers never have to lose a customer as a result of premium costs.
“Our latest move, to give brokers 25% commission when they refer business to us, is just further evidence of our commitment to our brokers.”
Select & Protect relaunched its mortgage broker introducer service earlier this month and is offering all users 25% year one commission for those who deliver converted leads before June 7.
