Virgin Money increases rates

Virgin Money has announced that it is increasing selected fixed rates, effective from today.

It has informed brokers that from today (Tuesday October 22) in its Exclusive BTL range:

  • 60% LTV 2 Year Fixed Rate with £2,195 fee will be increased by 0.10%, to 4.29%.
  • 60% LTV 5 Year Fixed Rate with £2,195 fee will be increased by 0.05%, to 4.07%.
  • 60% LTV 2 Year Fixed Rate with 1% fee will be increased by 0.05%, to 4.39%.
  • 60% LTV 5 Year Fixed Rate with 1% fee will be increased by 0.05%, to 4.12%.
  • Fix and Switch rates with £495 fee will be increased by up to 0.10%, with rates starting from 4.74%.

Fix and Switch fee-saver will be increased by up to 0.10%, with rates starting from 5.00%.

In its Exclusive Remortgage:

  • 75% LTV Fix and Switch fee-saver will be increased by 0.09%, to 4.74%.

75% & 85% LTV Retrofit Boost 5 year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.10%, starting from 4.34%.

In its Exclusive Purchase:

  • Selected Own New fixed rates will be increased by 0.10%, starting from 0.35%.

75% & 85% LTV Retrofit Boost 5 year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.10%, starting from 4.34%.

Virgin Media has also announced that increases in its Product Transfer:

  • Selected 2 & 3 year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.05%, starting from 4.07%.

Selected 5 year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.10%, starting from 3.89%.

There are changes to its Core Purchase:

  • 65% and 75% LTV 5 year fixed rates will be increased by 0.10%, starting from 4.04%.

85% LTV fixed rates will be increased by 0.05%, starting from 4.24%.
