The Virgin One account employs over sixty people to look after intermediary business, both out in the field and at their Norwich headquarters in Norfolk.
Plans for growth include at least twenty more people at the new contact centre in the North West.
Scott Mowbray, Marketing Manager at Virgin One said: "We
are nearing full capacity in our Norwich headquarters and so it makes sense to look towards our new facility in Horwich to expand the intermediary team. It is a great accolade to our existing team that
we already need to expand in this area in order to support our partners."
He added: "This move reflects our confidence in intermediaries utilising the Virgin One Account as both a mortgage and a financial planning solution for the majority of their clients."
The new team will be operational from 19 August 2002 and will be responsible for developing existing and new relationships with intermediaries.
