VitalityLife has unveiled a number of enhancements across its range of serious illness cover plans which will take effect on Saturday 23 November.
VitalityLife have added four new conditions including severe sepsis and a range of rare conditions.
Vitality has also launched the Cancer Benefit Booster, a protection initiative to help those undergoing cancer treatment.
This is available to members with aVitalityHealth Private Medical Insurance (PMI) plan and an eligibleVitalityLife Serious Illness Cover (SIC) policy, who are undergoing treatment for cancer and claiming on either policy.
They will now receive £570 per month, plus the cost of their monthly PMI and life insurance premiums per month on top to support extra living expenses during their treatment.

There have been a number of changes to existing conditions, including amendments to its heart attack and third degree burns cover.
Type one diabetes has been added to children's cover along with a hospitalisation benefit being introduced, which from the 14th day of hospitalisation pays £100 per day for up to 30 days.
VitalityLife has also listed 23 conditions that require surgery being paid upon admission to an NHS waiting list.
