In his new role Jones will report to the group sales and marketing director, Samantha Porter.
She said: “We have a challenging time ahead of us as we have ambitious plans to grow our business. Face-to-face selling has always been a key part of our offering and this personal contact is valued by our customers.
“As we continue to grow, it has become necessary to appoint a dedicated Managing Director for the Sales Force to ensure we maximise our potential.”
Jones has 20 years’ experience in sales, having worked at Prudential as sales director.
Wesleyan provides specialist financial advice and solutions to doctors, dentists, lawyers and teachers.
Jones said: “This is an exciting time to join Wesleyan, I have always admired its strong brand values and I can already see that this is a company that cares about its staff as well as its customers.
“There are going to be some real changes in the way Wesleyan operates over the coming years and I’m happy to be a part of that.”
