Robert Skinner, the Director General of the Money Advice Trust, said: “I am delighted that we are able to launch wiseradviser online which represents the first stage in a full e-learning solution for advisers. It has been developed by the Money Advice Trust, in conjunction with MAS and Citizens Advice Scotland, with funding from the Scottish Executive and RBS.”
Stephanie Allison, Community Investment manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland said: “Money Advice Scotland is making a real difference to improving access to quality learning for money advisers across the UK. Wiseradviser is a pioneering learning resource making it easier for advisers to gain recognised qualifications, enabling them to provide the best possible advice to their clients. We are pleased to be associated with that.”
Also at the conference, awards were presented to 20 advisers who have completed Units or full Certificates in Money Advice. This strengthens Money Advice Scotland’s campaign to professionalise the non fee-charging sector to ensure that the highest standards of advice are available free.
