Steward, 50, set up the company a decade ago and will oversee the next phase of the company's development.
He left two years ago to launch Network Surveyors Ltd, part of Network Data plc, playing an instrumental role in the group’s flotation and the development of Home Information Pack provider Hipstar.
Steward said: “It’s great to be back. I’m looking forward to driving the business forward to face the challenges of a rapidly changing market place. I’ll be doing this by focusing on the core values that established Wolton as a market leader in the industry.”
Wolton is part of the Spicerhaart group. The company has recently established a strong partnership with leading FS support services provider Sesame in order to offer a wider range of products and services to its customers.
Stephen Nation, managing director of Professional Services at Spicerhaart, added: “Wolton is an invaluable part of the Spicerhaart group and Jon’s return has been warmly welcomed. He brings a great wealth of experience, with lots of energy and drive to take us forward.”
