Sesame’s online system was launched earlier this year and - following a successful pilot exercise - its network members can now reserve funds from Woolwich quickly and easily without having to call the lender direct.
Woolwich will now offer two tranches to Sesame network members; one for new customers and another for existing Woolwich mortgage customers who wish to book further advances.
John Cupis, Sesame’s managing director for mortgages and general insurance, commented: “By using Sesame’s online system, advisers will have alternative access to funds. This is the shape of things to come in mortgage distribution and we look forward to working with Woolwich and other lenders to take advantage of this valuable service.”
The system, designed by Sesame’s product development team, provides lenders with the opportunity to view cases by individual case number, overall volume, product, LTV, loan size or any other product component specifications.
