Full time case managers will be taken on at Accord Mortgages, the intermediary lending subsidiary of Yorkshire Building Society.
The positions are based within Accord’s customer service centre in Filey Street, Bradford, and successful applicants will join a case manager development programme to help further their career.
Yorkshire Building Society’s sales and marketing director Ian Bullock said: “It is great news for the local and regional economy that our continuing success means we are creating these 50 new jobs.
“Last year we took on 60 extra staff at Accord and I am pleased to say we need even more case managers to process the growing number of applications we are receiving.
“Our strong performance over recent years means we are able to help more people borrow the money they need to buy their own home, while at the same remaining a responsible and prudent lender.
“Taking on additional staff shows how committed we are to continually improving the levels of service we offer.
“We provide full training and all the recruits will work with our existing team of experienced managers to make sure the mortgage application process runs efficiently.
“The development programme has been specifically designed to enhance skills and create a natural path for career progression. It is a terrific opportunity for local people seeking a job with one of the region’s biggest and best employers.”
