Amato was founded in 1993 by Bob and Delores Amato.
The company was initially established to sell fresh, home-made pasta, tomatoes and Italian cheese but now sells over 1,500 products to more than 600 trade customers.
Amato has been operating from a relatively small, rented site in Manchester but, given the need to meet increasing orders, has been searching for new premises for nearly a year. An ideal, 1.6 acre site near to the firm's current location recently came on the market.
The move will help the firm to significantly expand its operations and capitalise on new market opportunities. The company currently employs around 25 staff.
Bob Amato, founder, Amato Food Products, said: "I'm extremely proud of what we have achieved at Amato over the past 20 years.
"What's even better is that I see an even brighter future for the firm as evidenced by our need to find new premises to fulfil our growing order book. I'd like to thank Santander Corporate Banking for helping us realise our potential by helping the firm relocate and start on the next phase in our history."
David Parr, relationship director for Santander Corporate Banking, said: "Amato's success is down to hard work, great products and business acumen, and a long-term vision.
"We are delighted that the firm continues to bank with Santander Corporate Banking and we will continue to work with Amato's management to make sure the firm carries on delivering high quality products to a growing number of restaurants throughout the UK."
