Zurich’s electronic submission platform, ETi, (developed in conjunction with the Focus Solutions Group), underpins online transactions from both the Zurich Advice Network and Zurich Mortgage Network.
ETi is an easy to use, integrated system which enables advisers to complete mortgage, protection and general insurance sales using one effortless electronic sales process. ETi was entered for this award on the basis of its performance, exceeding business objectives and delivering significant business results:
- By December 2003, 98% of all non regulated business was submitted electronically
- As a result of introducing Eti, the volume of non regulated business has more than doubled and is still increasing on a month on month basis.
- Support staff training has been reduced from 4 months to 4 days
- Paperwork turnaround times have improved, with more than 50% same-day processing.
