For this edition of MITV, we meet Jeff Knight from The Mortgage Marketing Forum, and Chris Whitmore, from Pegasus Insight, to discuss the findings of their recent industry study. They reflect on the extent to which rapidly changing rates are causing stress and huge inefficiencies for brokers. Many of the brokers surveyed, some of whom have been working in the industry for a long time, described this as the hardest market they had ever faced. They were feeling the stress of their clients too, taking on more of a counselling role.
