Payton Capital, a non-bank lender and commercial real estate private debt fund manager, has expanded its New South Wales team with a triple appointment, aiming to strengthen its services for both investors and borrowers.
Ava Thomas (pictured above left) joins as investment director NSW, bringing more than 12 years of experience in private banking and financial advisory. She began her career at Swedbank in Scandinavia, working with high-net-worth clients, before holding roles at NAB and Westpac in investment and credit lending.
In her new role, Thomas will work with the investor services team to help clients manage and grow their wealth.
Hamish Tweedy (pictured above centre) has been named senior relationship director NSW. With over 30 years of experience in property finance and funds management, Tweedy specialises in structuring and risk management for property development finance. Before joining Payton, he was head of credit at Gemi Investments and held senior roles at Westpac, ANZ, and NAB.
Adeeba Ali (pictured above right) steps in as senior relationship manager NSW. Ali has more than six years of experience in banking, specialising in property finance and commercial banking. She previously worked at ANZ and ASB in New Zealand.
At Payton, Ali will collaborate with Tweedy in the borrower services team, focusing on client relationships and lending solutions.
“We’re excited to welcome Ava, Hamish, and Adeeba to Payton, which is a testament to our growth as a business,” said Jeremey Townend, co-head of Payton Capital. “We look forward to leveraging their expertise to explore new opportunities in the New South Wales market.”
