Thinktank appoints new regional sales executive

Non-bank property lender Thinktank has appointed Tony Maroun (pictured above) as its new regional sales executive for the Northern Region.

Maroun brings over 20 years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, and third-party distribution.

He has held leadership roles at ANZ and NAB, including area manager for NSW Premium Broker and Commercial Broker, and state manager for Commercial Broker NSW/ACT.  He will report to Thinktank head of partnerships and distribution Belinda Wright, winner for Female Leaders in the Mortgage Industry.

“We recently realigned our sales team to better serve our broker partners, and we’re thrilled to have Tony join and lead the team,” said Wright, who was appointed to her position in April.

“His wealth of experience and proven leadership will be instrumental in driving our growth strategy in the Northern Region. Tony’s ability to inspire and lead teams to achieve outstanding results aligns perfectly with our culture and vision for the future.”

The appointment, Wright said, underscores the lender’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team and enhancing its service offering across Australia.

She believes Maroun’s expertise in fostering collaborative environments and delivering superior outcomes will further solidify Thinktank’s position as one of the leaders in the non-bank lending sector.

Commenting on his appointment, Maroun stated he was thrilled to join the Thinktank team.

“In recent years, Thinktank has strategically assembled a diverse and highly experienced group of professionals,” he said. “Together, we’re committed to pushing the boundaries of product innovation, deepening and strengthening partnerships, and delivering outstanding service that not only meets but exceeds the evolving needs of brokers and their clients.”
