Bank moves two spots up the overall trust ranking
Bendigo Bank has been listed as one of Australia’s most trusted organisations, according to the latest Roy Morgan trust rankings released for the December quarter.
The bank continues to hold its position as the nation’s most trusted bank, achieving a net promoter score (NPS) of 27.8 points above the industry average over a six-month rolling period.
Marnie Baker (pictured), chief executive and managing director at Bendigo Bank, said the recognition reflected the bank’s ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction, the quality of its products, and its innovative digital services.
“Bendigo Bank is consistently recognised as Australia’s most trusted bank because we continue to put our customers at the centre of everything we do,” Baker said. “We are dedicated to building even stronger relationships with our 2.6 million customers by prioritising integrity, reliability, and customer-centricity.”
Roy Morgan’s research, drawing on feedback and insights from over 60,000 Australians, allows consumers to share their reasons for trusting or distrusting brands. In this update, Bendigo Bank also received the title of the most trusted agribusiness bank, based on votes from a panel of 30,000 farmers.
Within the top 20 overall ranking, Bendigo Bank (15th) was the only brand to move up two spots, widening the gap against ING (18th) and Commonwealth Bank (19th).
In the annual Roy Morgan Most Trusted Brands Awards, Bendigo Bank has won the award for Australia's most trusted bank in 2022 and 2023.
“Bendigo Bank remains committed to delivering on our purpose of feeding into the prosperity of our customers and the community, not off them,” Baker said.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and contribute to thousands of community-strengthening projects across Australia through sponsorships and grants made through our unique Community Bank model.”
