MPA's new consumers on brokers survey reveals majority of respondents would go to a broker for non-mortgage services
MPA's first ever Consumers on Brokers survey results are about to land on desks next week, so here's a sneak peek on what the consumer wants from their broker.
84% of respondents would consider getting a non-mortgage service from a mortgage broker. 25% of respondents said they would consider financial planning, 20% would consider insurance, 19% would consider loans for business and 19% would consider vehicle loans.
MPA aimed to find out why people use brokers and for what, whether they are really interested in diversified products and what they expect after settlement? The full Consumers on Brokers survey answers these questions directly from the consumer.
Using our own, closely monitored database of around 60,000 potential homebuyers, the survey was run through our sister titles, Your Mortgage, Australia’s only independent mortgage website, and Your Investment Property magazine.
Consumers on their databases – who range from first homebuyers to seasoned investors – were invited to answer 21 questions. These questions covered what we believe are the key concerns of brokers in 2015.
