Leader has been with the bank since 2007
NAB has appointed Adam Brown to the role of executive, broker distribution, after he took on the role on an interim basis in June.
Brown has been with NAB since 2007, having most recently held the position of executive, broker experience.
He will continue NAB’s focus as the ‘bank behind the broker’.
“I’m thrilled to be working even more closely with our broker network,” Brown said. “Our work at NAB is built on relationships and brokers play a crucial role in helping customers take advantage of great offers at such an important time in their lives.”
“We know fast, consistent service and strong relationships are the cornerstone of our customer experience which is why I’m so pleased to see even more applications from brokers going through our Simple Home Loans process.
“This process is giving brokers and purchasers faster approval and even greater certainty through the settlement process.”
Brown is well known in the broker industry and has led the Advantedge business for many years.
He has previous experience in broker advocacy with a focus on customer service while also having worked in sales and distribution, business operations, risk management and technology.
According to a statement from NAB, Brown has been an integral part of the team delivering the transformation of NAB’s mortgage process through Simple Home Loans and he will continue the transformation and market leadership of this product through NAB’s broker channel.
NAB executive, homeownership Andy Kerr said Brown’s appointment to this key role showed the bank’s strength and commitment to its brokers.
“We recognise the real advantage we have in the market and the dedication we have to broker service is delivering us consistent wins in our business,” Kerr said.
“The future of our broker channel will be built on relationships – with our customers and brokers – as well as speed and simplicity.”
Kerr said Brown would “continue to build Australia’s simplest digital home loan and see consistent and fast approval times”.
