Submissions open for 2025 MFAA Excellence Awards

Awards to honour outstanding achievements in the mortgage and finance industry

Submissions open for 2025 MFAA Excellence Awards

The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) has opened submissions for its 2025 Excellence Awards, recognising top-performing professionals and businesses across the mortgage and finance industry.

Now in its 22nd year, the MFAA Excellence Awards are open exclusively to MFAA members. The awards honour outstanding achievements across a range of categories, including individuals, businesses, and lenders.

Winners of the state and territory awards will progress to the National Excellence Awards, which are set to take place in Melbourne in July 2025.

Submissions officially opened on Jan. 2, following the opening of nominations last month. Members are encouraged to enter themselves or nominate peers who demonstrate excellence, professionalism, and industry leadership.

Entries are assessed by an independent panel of judges, with the results audited by Hall Chadwick to ensure fairness and transparency. For lender awards, winners are determined exclusively by member voting, also independently audited.

Anja Pannek (pictured above), chief executive of the MFAA, highlighted the importance of recognising members’ contributions, particularly during difficult times.

“Over the past 12 months, MFAA members have continued to provide exceptional support, service, and guidance to Australian consumers and business owners in the midst of challenging economic conditions,” Pannek said.

“The 2025 MFAA Excellence Awards are a fantastic opportunity for our members to be recognised for reaching the pinnacle of industry achievement. I would encourage all our members to nominate.”

Submissions close on Feb. 18. More information, including entry kits and nomination details, can be found on the MFAA Excellence Awards website
