Avison Young introduces latest national and regional appointments

Avison Young has announced its latest batch of appointments for its national and British Columbian operations teams.

The company has added Marie-France Benoit as its new director of Insights for Canada. With over 15 years of experience in commercial segment analytics and strategy, Benoit will be tasked with the development and implementation of Avison Young’s insight and analysis program.

Benoit will be focusing on “data-driven insights using leading-edge technology through AVANT by Avison Young,” the company said.

“As an integral part of the Avison Young team, Marie-France will build upon our comprehensive picture of the current state and outlook for commercial real estate,” said Mark Fieder, principal and president of Avison Young in Canada. “Marie-France is among the best at reporting on trends and opportunities – and our leading-edge technology will further enable her ability to deliver valuable thought leadership for clients making critical, strategic decisions.”

Avison Young also announced the expansion of its British Columbia team with the launch of its Valuation and Advisory team in Vancouver. The new team will be helmed by Jessica Toppazzini, senior vice president and practice leader of Valuation and Advisory Services at British Columbia.

Toppazzini is also joined by Steven Caldecott, senior vice president; Victoria Steele, senior valuation consultant; Antonio Balogh, junior appraiser; and Matt Chin, data analyst.
