With input from thousands of brokers across Canada, the latest edition of Canadian Mortgage Professional has crowned the 32 best brokerages, lenders, and service providers in the country as of this year.
“CMP asked companies from every corner of the mortgage industry to participate in our second annual Top Mortgage Workplaces survey,” the publication said. “Employers nominated their organizations to partake in the survey process, in which employees shared what they like - and dislike - about their respective workplaces. Their responses reveal the variety of opportunities leading mortgage companies are offering.”
The poll also revealed what exactly are the characteristics of an excellent mortgage workplace – characteristics that these 32 trailblazers embody.
“Exceptional benefits and resources. Educational opportunities. Diversity and inclusion efforts. A sense of camaraderie, accessible leaders, competitive salaries and rewards for achieving goals,” CMP outlined.
Other vital characteristics cited by respondents were support and recognition, flexible work hours, good communication, and a focus on work-life balance.
