Platform continues to see growth in its number of Canadian users
With its Canadian arm in full bloom, U.S.-based real estate marketplace Zillow has announced its alliances with more than 250 partner brokerages and franchisors.
This will allow the partners to display housing listings on Zillow’s online platform and mobile app. Among the platform’s latest agreements include those with iPro Realty, RE/MAX Condo Plus, and PSR Brokerage.
“iPro Realty has more than 1,700 agents who are constantly looking for ways to promote themselves, their listings and provide their clients with great service,” iPro Realty CEO Rui Alves stated. “With our listings now visible to Zillow’s large, international audience of home shoppers, our clients will receive the advantage of their homes receiving even greater exposure.”
“We pride ourselves at being at the cutting edge of real estate,” RE/MAX Condo Plus broker of record and owner Jamie Johnston noted. “We think our association with Zillow is another opportunity for our agents to demonstrate their value to the public.”
“PSR Brokerage is thrilled to be one of the first luxury brokerages to partner with Zillow in Canada. Our primary focus remains on elevating the businesses of our entrepreneurial agents through enhanced digital marketing strategies,” PSR president of resale Adam Stern said. “Zillow adds tremendous value to this initiative by providing our agents with tools and technology to assist in the global exposure and marketing of their listings.”
Zillow’s announcement came with its release of its updated metrics, which indicated that the online platform saw a 32% year-to-date increase in its monthly Canadian unique users. At present, more than 4,500 Canadian agents have profiles on the platform.
“Zillow has long been a go-to real estate resource in the U.S. for consumers and our partners in industry, and it’s exciting to see more than 250 Canadian partners using Zillow,” Zillow Group chief industry development officer Errol Samuelson stated. “Canadian listings on Zillow have the benefit of our audience of 195 million unique monthly users which includes a quickly growing Canadian audience.”
