The company has added seven new “All-Star” managers – broker accounts and support staff to boost turnaround times and broker service
Radius Financial has continued a busy and productive month with the announcement of seven new managers – broker accounts, with the new hires reflecting the company’s concerted push to build an industry-leading broker support lender.
The new appointments come hot on the heels of the arrival of industry veteran Alfonso Casciato as executive vice president for Radius’s parent company Pacific Mortgage Group, a move aimed at accelerating the company’s evolution through strategic initiatives and business excellence.
The new names at Radius are: Dante Reame, arriving from RFA; Rebecca Turner, from First National; Michelle Camilleri, from CMLS; Jim Bearman, from MERIX; Jackie Weng, from First National; Christina Nicolia, from MERIX; and Allison Boaventura, from Community Trust; with the appointments effective from June 2021.
Speaking with Mortgage Broker News, Radius CEO Ron Swift (pictured) said that the flurry of new hires was a clear statement of the company’s intent to maximize the quality of its service and increase its broker support further as it continues its rapid recent growth.

“Radius has, for the past year and a half, had one of the lowest rates in the market, along with great underwriting,” he said. “We’ve brought in some of the best people in the industry – eight in the last couple of weeks alone – to take the company to the next level and double down on our common-sense underwriting and service.”
The company has placed a strong focus on its support for Canada’s mortgage broker community, a segment that Swift recently described as “crucial” to the success of the industry as a whole.
Radius’s broker-centric lender model, he said, had been bolstered significantly by the addition of the new broker relationship managers to its team, giving the company a key edge in its goal to deliver the best possible service to customers and rapid turnaround time for brokers.
“Hiring the best of the best is crucial for delivering the experience our brokers and their customers need in today’s competitive market,” he said. “These All-Stars have proven track records of delivering exceptional service for their companies.”
The announcement of the new hires was also welcomed by Alex Haditaghi, founder and chairman of Pacific Mortgage Group, who said that it demonstrated the company’s ability to attract the top talent in the mortgage industry to supplement its service and support.
“Exceptional service starts with exceptional people,” he commented. “Ron Swift and his team have attracted some of the best talent in the industry to provide the exceptional service that Radius is known for.

“Our CEO and executive management team have done a great job in building a caring, winning and family culture that allows us to recruit top talent from our bigger competitors.”
Radius specializes in insured and uninsured mortgage products offered through its mortgage broker network in both the residential and commercial mortgage spaces, placing a particular focus on meeting the changing mortgage needs of the North American market.
Earlier this month, Casciato – speaking with Mortgage Broker News as he stepped into his new executive role with the company – said that one of his key goals for the future was to strengthen Radius’s brand presence in the mortgage broker space across Canada, with the broker community representing a “key segment” for the company’s plans.
