Move effective from beginning of April
Dominion Lending Centres (DLCG) has named Mike De Eyre as the next president of the mortgage giant’s subsidiary Mortgage Architects, with the move effective from April 1.
The 17-year industry veteran will replace current Mortgage Architects president Dustan Woodhouse, who intends to focus on the Be The Better Broker workshop training series and speaking engagements throughout the industry.
De Eyre said he was “thrilled” to be joining the brand, with the industry poised for an era of opportunity ahead, while Woodhouse thanked the Mortgage Architects network including lead planners, associate planners, and head office team for their support during his five-year stint at the helm.
“Moving forward, I’m confident that Mike De Eyre has the right skills and abilities to lead MA through the next chapter,” Woodhouse said.
DLCG’s chief executive officer Gary Mauris paid tribute to the outgoing president and hailed the capabilities of his successor. “Given Mike’s extensive industry knowledge and experience, we are excited to have him lead MA and join DLCG,” Mauris commented.
“We’ve known Mike for many years and believe he is a perfect fit for the role. We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Dustan for his leadership at MA for the last five years and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
De Eyre began his career in the industry with Maple Trust in 2007 and served in various roles in the mortgage business area with Scotiabank, most recently as regional vice president.
