Art Yeend joined The Barrent Group to develop new client relationships
The Barrent Group has appointed Art Yeend as business development director to develop new client relationships and nurture existing ones.
Serving for more than 30 years in the mortgage industry and on Wall Street, Yeend brings experience in capital markets, sales, and production. The Barrent Group is a provider of mortgage loan due diligence, quality control, and consulting services.
"Art's vast experience and expertise in mortgage finance are an important addition to The Barrent Group. He'll be a great asset as we continue to expand our due diligence services, including Fitch- and S&P-rated securitizations," The Barrent Group President Richard Barrent said.
Before joining The Barrent Group, Yeend was managing director at MountainView Financial Solutions, where he headed both sales and marketing. He has also held roles at Kidder Peabody and Link Securities, now Guggenheim Capital Markets. Yeend also served for the GreenPoint Mortgage unit of Capital One Finance, where he was senior vice president and director of national sales for correspondent lending.
Additionally, he was a trading desk manager at the interest rate risk management firm Tuttle & Co., where he was an original partner. He began his career at Old National Bank's Bancshares Mortgage.
