Limited tickets for highly anticipated event
Registrations are now open for the New Zealand Mortgage Awards, the country’s premiere independent event for mortgage industry professionals.
Mortgage advisers, lenders, aggregators, and other industry professionals are encouraged to book their tickets now, as previous years suggest spots will fill fast.
Hosted by media darling Wilhelmina Shrimpton and featuring a special Māori welcome by Haka the Legend, the awards ceremony is a fantastic way to celebrate industry excellence and network with leading names in the field.
This year's prestigious event will be held on April 11 at the Auckland War Memorial Museum.
One ticket entitles guests to attend the New Zealand Mortgage Awards Cocktail Party, where the winners will be announced.
NZ Mortgage Awards – ‘tax deductible’ and ‘good for the soul’
The awards showcase the country’s most outstanding advisers, brokerages, aggregators, lenders, BDMs and service providers for their achievements, best practices, and leadership over the past 12 months.

Dylan Thomas (pictured above left), director and financial adviser at Sixtus, was “stoked” to learn he made the list, being named an excellence awardee in the Commercial Mortgage Adviser of the Year category.
“It's always nice to get some recognition of your hard work over the past year,” he said.
Thomas said he had already booked his ticket because “last year’s event was great”.
“It’s such a good excuse to catch up with colleagues and friends and celebrate our amazing industry.”
Sharing his sentiment is Ben Mune (pictured above right) who “wouldn’t miss it for the world” – especially since he is nominated twice.
Mune is not only nominated for the First Mortgage Trust New Adviser of the Year, but his brokerage, Ascend Financial Services, is also up for the Finsure NZ New Brokerage of the Year.
“Regardless of that, the NZ Mortgage Awards are a good time and good for the soul. I would say the more the merrier, get amongst the fun and make some connections,” he said.
Jules Keillor (pictured above centre), adviser at Mortgage Link Christchurch, has also already secured her place at the awards – although she has more practical advice as to why others in the industry should attend.
“If you’re thinking of going but haven’t decided yet – what’s stopping you? It’s tax deductible… And a night out to celebrate everyone’s achievements,” said Keillor, who is also nominated for the First Mortgage Trust New Adviser of the Year.
