The real estate agency is set to launch its cadetship programme in September
Century 21 New Zealand is set to launch a cadet programme to run for four months starting September.
The cadet programme will help participants achieve a national certificate in real estate – only when qualified can a license to practice be applied for.
Century 21 will also undertake its own company training and issue a uniform. Those who complete the cadetship will then walk into a job at an affiliated Century 21 office.
“There’s many education providers offering real estate courses, but few offers a contract at the end of it, Century 21 will,” Century 21 national manager Geoff Barnett said. “What’s more when our new agents join us, we’ll support them into their careers with our world-famous induction programme and processes.”
According to Century 21, the cadetship will have three intakes each year. Interested people outside of Auckland, classes and time with the tutor can be Skyped, and face-to-face assignments will be available locally, Barnett said.
“As time goes on we might even set up a cadet school in another part of the North Island. However, the priority right now is launching our first one in Auckland, on Sept. 4 and provide the best real estate cadetship in the country.”
“We’re after self-starters and people with ambition and a great attitude. It’s a very good time to enter what is an exciting and an often-addictive industry,” Barnett said.
Century 21’s part-time cadet programme will recruit new industry-ready real estate agents and will operate out of the company’s headquarters in Parnell, Auckland.
“Century 21’s business and brand is only getting stronger in New Zealand. It’s a great time to join us,” Barnett said.
