Alpha Bridging has become a member of the Association of Short Term Lenders.
The lender, which saw a fourfold increase in completed business in 2015, has concentrated on catering for clients requiring £250,000 or less on a short-term basis.
Narinder Khattoare, sales director at Alpha, said: “With our track record and achievements in 2015 and our plans for this year, it was a logical move to seek to become involved with the trade body which has done so much to promote the industry and build confidence among brokers and clients.
“We want to play our part in helping to provide brokers with a strong sense of an industry which is united in setting the highest standards which is good for clients and the industry in general.”
Benson Hersch, chief executive of the ASTL, added: “We welcome any lender that is open to helping to progress and promote the positive reputation of the bridging industry both through what they say and how they behave.
“The bridging industry is a growing one and it is essential that it grows in the right way with lenders that are ethical, open and transparent with both brokers and borrowers.”
