More than 600 commercial finance brokers, lenders, funders and asset finance providers showed up to support today's National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers' annual conference at Birmingham's NEC.
Adam Tyler, chairman of the NACFB, said the trade body was delighted with the turnout.
He said: "It's great to see so many people getting together to network and talk about their experiences in the industry. The atmosphere's been brilliant all day long."
Businesses as diverse as Barclays, the conference's sponsor, Aldermore, Affirmative Finance and The Business Debt Advisor are exhibiting at the show.
Tyler added: "We've got 20 lenders here with underwriters who are actually doing business. We're pleased that so many brokers are getting a practical use out of the day."
Beverley Budworth, managing director of The Business Debt Advisor said the number of brokers showing an interest in her stand was encouraging.
She said: "The turnout's been great and we've been busy all day. I think there's a lot of interest in the diversity of exhibitors here. I know we've been speaking to brokers who are showing an active interest in learning about how to add non-lending solutions to their business lines."
Tyler added: "Everyone showing up today sends the industry a brilliant message. People were so keen we'd seen 250 through the door before 10.30 this morning."
The show is on at The Pavilion at Birmingham's NEC until 4.30pm.
