Professional landlord specialist lender Axis Bank UK has appointed Dean Linklater as key account manager for theNorth.
There is now a team of three key account managers, Dean Linklater in the North, Spencer Gale in London and the South East plus Antony Morris in the South West and Wales.
Jason Neale, head of buy-to-let business at Axis Bank UK, said: “I’m delighted Dean is on board and completes our key accounts team.
“Work is well under way to tweak our product range and modernise our technology platform but what our intermediaries value most is high quality, expert local support.
“Dean has a fantastic track record of developing intermediaries and already has a great relationship with many of our key partners so there’s no doubt he will be very successful.”
Linklater was previously regional sales manager for Magellan Homeloans and has held business development roles with Shawbrook Bank, Bridgebank Capital and GE Money during his 12 year career in financial services.
He added: “Having previously worked with some of the team in previous roles, I know what is achievable at Axis Bank UK and really wanted to be part of making the bank a key player in the professional buy-to-let market.
“It’s already a very competitive proposition but having seen the plans for development I’m really excited about the prospect of working closely with our partners to provide mortgages that meet the needs of the modern landlord.”
