Barnard was head of intermediary distribution at Aldermore after joining as head of business development for the division in 2010.
Charles Haresnape, group managing director, mortgages at Aldermore, said: “Rob has made a massive contribution to Aldermore and moves on with our very best wishes for his future success.
“I am sorry to see Rob leave the Bank but respect his decision to pursue new opportunities and would like to thank him for the support he has provided to me.”
Pepper Homeloans launched in the UK in June 2015 as a near prime lender.
