Price is responsible for enhancing Vida’s overall credit governance and the approval experience of intermediaries and borrowers across its product range.
Specialist mortgage lender Vida has appointed Mark Price as director of credit risk.
Price is responsible for enhancing Vida’s overall credit governance and the approval experience of intermediaries and borrowers across its range of BTL and residential products.
He has been at Metro Bank for the past 10 years, with his most recent position being chief credit officer/director of commercial credit.
Prior to Metro Bank, Price held senior executive customer-facing and distribution roles at Barclays Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland and NatWest meaning he understands the need to deliver a balanced approach to making the right decisions, quickly, for Vida customers.
This forms part of Vida’s aim to strengthening its intermediary-facing team and product proposition, and complements the recent appointment of Richard Tugwell as director of mortgage distribution, and significant rate cuts across its residential and BTL range.
