Canada Life has appointed Jon Dunckley to the newly created role of proposition development manager for its home finance product range.

He has recently worked with the Equity Release Council (ERC) on the development of its Competency Framework, and has delivered a series of adviser training workshops in partnership with Canada Life.
Dunckley will focus on understanding how property wealth can become part of a broader retirement income proposition and how Canada Life can continue to meet evolving customer needs.

"Homeowners across the country are looking for flexibility and certainty when it comes to planning for retirement, and for many a large proportion of their wealth is tied up in their home.
"As people seek to maintain living standards for increasingly long retirements, Jon’s arrival will help us continue to meet real customer needs.”
Dunckley said:“I’m very excited to be joining Canada Life and its industry leading home finance team.
"It’s vital that providers and advisers recognise the role that property wealth can play in modern retirement journeys and I’m thrilled to lead on developing this integration.”
