Jon King has stepped down as chairman of Bower Retirement after five years in the role.
Bower Retirement said that during this time the industry and Bower Retirement have seen many changes.King has helped to steer the growth and strategic direction of the company but now the time has come for a change. He will be leaving Bower from March 2019.
King said: “It has been a privilege to work with Geoff and the team at Bower since 2014, during a period of great change within the equity release industry.
“The time has now come for a change and to move onto new challenges. I wish Bower continued success for the coming years.”
Geoff Charles, Bower chief executive, added: “I would personally like to thank Jon for his hard work and support over the past years.
“He has been an asset to the company and has helped to shape the strategic growth and direction of Bower. We shall all be sorry to see him leave and wish him the best for whatever the future may hold.”
