Buyers in the South East like to shop around the most, with over half viewing six or more properties, closely followed by buyers in the South West.
Homebuyers in the North West are the least likely to view numerous properties and buyers in Wales are most likely to purchase the first property they see.
Oliver Blake, managing director at Your Move, said: “Even though some homeowners are lucky enough to fall in love with the first or second property they view, the majority take more time to make an offer on the perfect home.
“The results of our survey show that many home buyers are rightly being careful about making one of the most important financial decisions of their life.”
These figures come after Your Move announced February 2016 was the busiest month for viewings on their website, seeing a 55% increase from December.
Blake added: “February is typically the busiest month of the year in terms of online viewings being booked for Your Move and could be good news for those looking to sell their properties now.”
