Coventry Building Society has hired Iraj Amiri – a member of the Financial Conduct Authority’s Regulatory Decisions Committee – as a non-executive director subject to regulatory approval.

Gary Hoffman, chair of Coventry Building Society, said: “I am delighted to announce, subject to regulatory approval, Iraj’s appointment as non-executive director of Coventry Building Society.
“He is a recognised expert in his field, with a wealth of knowledge and experience which will be invaluable as the society continues to grow for the benefit of our members.”
He already holds non-executive board positions with public and member organisations covering auditing, investments and pensions.
