FSE Midlands in Coventry has announced its seminar programme – with Lynda Blackwell, mortgage sector manager at the Financial Conduct Authority set to speak.
Other speakers at the Ricoh Arena on 3 November will be Key Retirement’s Dean Mirfin, Mortgages for Business’ David Whittaker and Connect IFA’s Liz Syms (pictured).
There will also be an industry panel debate with John Truswell of CHL Mortgages, Adrian Moloney of OneSavings Bank, Bob Hunt of Paradigm Mortgage Services and Jason Berry at Uinsure.
James Prosser, managing director of Front Events, said: “At the start of next month we open the doors of FSE Midlands, taking place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, for the very first time.
“Over the past few years we have broadened the reach of FSE expanding into Manchester, Glasgow, and Cardiff, and it seems only right that we now move into the Midlands, to offer local advisers, who work within a vibrant financial services community, access to our unique events.
“Once again we have managed to secure a strong roster of presenting talent to offer their views and expertise, and we are delighted to welcome Lynda Blackwell as our key-note speaker offering the regulator’s highly important view on the market and advisers’ place within it.
“On top of this we have a number of heavyweight industry players presenting on a variety of topics including equity release, lending into retirement, and buy-to-let.”
There are currently 40 exhibitors signed up for the event, from niche lenders to challenger banks to high-street providers, plus mortgage clubs, networks, master brokers, other product providers and specialist operators.
All attendees at FSE Midlands will receive a free ticket to a Wasps Rugby Union home match of their choice at the Ricoh Arena.
